Mixed Textures, chain link handle, patent leather, leather and suede... Are you going girly, or sporting a polished look with a clutch purse. Whatever the size, style, or texture……every girl knows that purses can make an outfit! The FTC is not requiring any manufacturers to apply any special care labels for cleaning your purse. Some purses are multi colors; the dyes may bleed into one another if moisture, say getting caught in the rain, is around. Other colored dyes may just fade out with cleaning. Some purses have glue holding bling, bling designs or seams together and have a cardboard insert in the bottom to give it a sturdier stance.
Fabric Handbags
Fabric handbags are carefully hand cleaned. A stain repellent can be applied at no additional cost to help protect your investment.
Suede Handbags
Every suede handbag is evaluated to determine which one of our cleaning processes is best suited for that particular type of skin. Oils and colors are restored to the bags after hand cleaning to make the appearance look as rich as the day you brought it home. For best results, suede handbags should be cleaned when they are light to moderately soiled.
Leather Handbags
Each leather handbag is hand cleaned, paying special attention to hard to remove stains. The advantage to using Snow Cleaners with your leather handbags is that Snow Cleaners, Inc. is celebrating our 100th year of in house cleaning of leather and suede. This gives us the expertise to master mix colors to camouflage stains which are impossible to remove while retaining the original look and feel of the skin. Although this technique is a very time consuming process, it gives Snow Cleaners, Inc. the ability to rescue a handbag that would otherwise be a lost cause. Purse re-lining is available in Snow’s Stitching Center as well.
Metallic Finish/Pearlized Color
Metallic Finish and Pearlized color or trim do lift off some with cleaning processes, but can be restored back to original finish.
